Best job I've had so far

Pay landed me well above what I was making before. Good problems to work on and the autonomy to solve them your way.

Cons

burnout is common, unclear expectations

PTO people actually use, interesting problems

Contract

hit or miss

Pay is market, nothing to write home about. Stable and predictable, a little boring if I'm honest. Layoffs every other quarter — you're always watching your back.

Pros

genuinely smart coworkers, interesting problems
